SERVICES/EQUIPMENT: Linux DNS cluster
LOCATION: Ashville Datacenter

SUMMARY OF EVENT:

On Monday, December 19th 2016, at approximately 03:25 AM PST, our monitoring team was alerted to an increase in latency and packet loss in our core network. Our network engineers were immediately notified and began working to resolve the network issue.

It was determined that secondry DNS was having issues, which appears to be resolved now, but some of our customer on the subject network/ DNS may still be facing issue due to DNS propagation.
